Yes, I will admit that I wanted Billy D more than anybody but he didn't want to leave something that he has built from the ground up and I can't blame him. Now, Gillespie is a Texas man and the last time I heard the state of Texas had a hell of a lot of good basketball players. So lets give the guy a fighting chance on recruiting and see what he can do. I don't know the terms of the new contract but I an sure it will be 5-6 yrs. to give him time to have his guys show their abilities. And he did beat Louisville in Rupp! I'm just glad this whole thing didn't turn into the mess like it was when Alabama was looking for a football coach.
