Finally a mystery solved. Everyone knows that when Tubby takes his jacket off it’s time to get serious. For the players it usually means that they need to ramp up that infamous Tubby Smith defense. For the fans it’s usually not so good because it typically means we are either down or in a close game. In case you have ever wondered what happens to Tubby’s jacket when he takes it off, wonder no more! As I mentioned before, I went to the Georgia vs UK game last week and actually saw where his jacket was taken.
Since I’m trying to suck as much content as possible out of a game I actually got to attend, I have pictures. With arrows. The first picture shows a close-up location of where it was taken by one of UK’s (I’m assuming student) managers. I’m not sure if there is a tunnel there, but it looked as if he was hanging it up. It is possible that he handed it off but I don’t think he did. As you can see, there are five uniformed officers standing guard at this location. At the next press conference, someone should ask Assistant AD/Media Relations Scott Stricklin if Dawhares compensates these officers or if Tubby himself pays to have his jacket guarded. True Wildcat fans need to know these things!
The second picture gives a little more perspective as to where exactly this location is.

The place in question is a garbage can. It is the visitor’s enterance to the game, as well as the lower arena enterance for many fans. The guards are posted there because the police post sits directly inside of this tunnel.
I believe the pictures were taken late in the game, a time at which the police begin to congregate in the four corner enterances to the court. A wider shot of the court would have revealed the same amount of police on the other four enterances.
These officers duity is to protect the visiting team from the students which sit on either side of this enterance, not the jacket.

These guys (Wildcats) play with no heart, passion for the game, nor any enthusiam. They are as about as exciting to watch as KISSING YOUR SISTER!!! As I see it, this style of play(or the lack thereof) is a direct result of Tubby Smiths coaching abilities. If he doesn t go deep into the tourney this year, I think he needs to GO!!!!!!!!!!!

IT SEEMS AS THOUGH THIS CITE IS THE “IDIOT FRINGE” BARNHART REFERENCED!
