In case you missed it on LEX18, apparently Alan Cutler has been calling around to check Randolph’s status with some NBA teams. Well, you can just watch the video.

Somebody should smear some dirt on his forehead to cut down on the shine. I feel sorry for the cameramen.
Cutler should know that Randolph pledged to stay for 4 seasons, when Kentucky fought so hard to get him back. Honestly, I think it will take a coup of massive proportions to get Randolph to stay after this season.
Seriously, isn’t Cutler pretty anti-Tubby? I thought I heard him Tubby-bashing on his radio show last year. I wonder if he’s trying to stir the pot a bit.
I’ll be honest I dont see Randolph going anywhere until after his senior season. I think he learned his lesson last year I dont think he will test the waters again this year because if for some reason he doesnt go first round this year ((which he should especially after eating Tyler Hansbrough alive @ Chapel Hill) he knows he wont be back at Uk for his senior year. Im glad to see Fitch is doing good. Hopefully Chuck Hayes will stay in the league a while. Anyone heard anything about Scott Padgett? Last I heard he was with the Rockets as well I think….
Hey troy thanks for commenting. I don’t think Randolph will have to go through the draft again. I don’t know this with 100% certainty but I think since he went so deep into the process last time it would just be a straight contract offer. Maybe Gimel would know more about it.
Since Morris already entered his name into the NBA draft two years ago, he is prohibitted from entering again. He can sign as a free agent with any NBA team at any time, whether it’s tomorrow or after his senior year (hopefully the latter!).
thats very true matt but who knows what other mysterious fax’s tubby has under his belt…he could probally get lebron james to play in our next game…the ncaa is all over tubby’s balls, its so awesome

matt is right: Here’s the H-L article that mentions Morris’ position.

I am just trusting that Morris is a man of his word. I will believe that until he proves otherwise.
