Kentucky will NOT be dancing

by webmaster

This scout.com article caught my eye today so I thought it was worth posting to see what everyone thinks. Two first names guy pretty much says that Kentucky must beat Alabama on Thursday “To even reach the bubble…” So not only is UK not already in the tournament they aren’t even a bubble team at this point.

Did I miss something? I know there has been some major suckage going on this year but is that really the prevailing opinion on the message boards right now? Seriously, I don’t really read them that often, someone fill us in. Do you think as of right now, Kentucky is OUT of the tournament?

9-7 in the SEC, no wins vs. top #25 ranked teams, in fact 0-6 against top #25 ranked teams. Kentucky is not ranked, and not even on the radar with the “other teams receiving votes” in the ESPN coaches poll. If they don’t win, or at least make an impressive run in the SEC tournament, they don’t deserve to get invited. The selection committee is going to look at how far Kentucky could go in the NCAA tournament, and honestly, right now, they look like one and done to me. Might as well save that spot for a team from the bloodbath that is the Pac-10.

I dont know who wrote that article but they need to be fired because they dont know much about college basketball. I understand national media thinking we are a bubble team even though I know this team is a lock but these dudes must pay not attention whatsoever to the SEC to make a statement that we have t beat BAMA just to reach the bubble. Its crap and not worth reading.

Win vs Crimson Tide, IN; lose, Bubble.

Kentucky will make the tournament. The NCAA selection committee aren’t so friggin’ stupid that they would exclude UK. The NCAA is most concerned with $$$ and they know that UK fans will shell out the moolah. Fact.
