We try to be original around here and not just a link dump, but today is an exception. It was announced that UK has picked up it’s first verbal commitment for the 2008 season. He is none other than Draymond Green. Ta Da! No, don’t worry, I’ve never heard of him either. Not that it’s a bad thing because I’ve never heard of him. Not at all. I couldn’t tell you the name of one high school junior anywhere in the US. So it would make no sense for me to pretend to know anything about this kid. Please go to these other places that seem to have an obsession with underage high school basketball players. Just kidding, take it easy. But I can say that I don’t have notes on random basketball player’s laying around that say “Impressive frame….nice jumper….decent low-post moves….knack for the ball.”

once again. a recruit no one has ever heard of. and in 2 years, when he is in college, at UK, there will still be no one who has ever heard of him. until he starts getting flamed by UK fans because Tubby will waste and almost certainly deteriorate any talent he might actually have. Tubby could have turned Michael Jordan into a suicidal failure in life. Or…well I would say something else about the NBA but I would probably get killed since everyone is ‘openly accepting’ gays into the NBA and all other sports. Just remember thats only a ticket seller. No one really cares about anyone’s feelings. Anyway…back to UK.. That’s Tubby’s job isn’t it? Ruining what we do have…Well actually I hope Tubby isn’t around for 2 more years. But we all know he will be. Especially if he keeps winning 20 games every year and keeps that record in tact.

I’d like to inform you that you don’t know shit about college basketball… I don’t like to put much stock into rankings but they are somewhat important, this kid is a 3 star as a junior, Patterson also was just a 3 star as a junior, wadaya know he’s now a McDonalds All american, isn’t that tubbys job to bring in mcdonald’s all americans, I think so and the best way to do that is to get in on kids early and not sweat out recruitment untill the very end like we are this year… The fact is Green is said to be the top power forward in the state of Michigan, you know KYle he’s only a Junior :)… Thought ya might like that smiley Faggot, sorry webmaster… When you can reel in a prospect from the Wolverine State that both Michigan and Michigan state wanted to get them selves, that is something special my friends… At least tubby isn’t getting the hand me downs like Bobby Perry from Tabacco Road who wasn’t even wanted by NC or Duke… Get a life Kyle, Go to bed, and stop posting bullshit at 1 O’clock in the Morning!!!

What I’m telling you is Brandon Stockton was Kentucky Mr. Basketball but Tubby killed what he did have. And trust me, he was talented because I’ve seen him play multiple times. Maybe if this kid improves his shooting (other than scoring down low) then he will be worth the hassle but at the moment, I dont see how it’s going to benefit us. OH MY GOD FORGIVE ME FOR HAVING AN OPINION. And it is currently 10:07 PM is that better?

Shit Kyle settle down little man, Frosty Boner took you to school, it’s time you face the facts…How can you compare B-Stock who was basically a midget and was not recruited by any other High Majors to Draymond Green who plays high school ball in Michigan a talent rich state and is only a junior already has high major offers, only a junior already a 3 star, only a junior already considered by most too be the most talented player of anyone in his state? KY High School ball is fine but compared to Mich. it’s a joke, Stockton might have been good when you watched him, just not good enough to play at a school of UK’s caliber, maybe NKU… I could say more, but hopefully this open’s your eyes and helps you read that Clock

Well I know at the time and before this post, you thought you just PWNED ME with possibly the best ‘burn’ you have directed toward anyone in your whole life, but what you didn’t know is that these comments seem to post on eastern time, and I am on central time, and how was I supposed to know that?

Well, for all you naysayers based on what you have at Kentucky right now Green will dominate that competition. He is a very passionate and competitive player that can help UK get back to playing true WildCat basketball. Trust and believe he is the real deal.

not only is the BEST player in the state of michigan, he is also going to be rated one of the top forwards in the ENTIRE country after the season and when the AAU rankings come out. this kid is going to be a playa when he gets to UK. bank on it!

Draymond is the real deal. His minutes are limited because he plays with 5 Division 1 players and 5 D2 players. (2 of the D1 players are juniors and 1 is a sophmore) In spite of all that he still gets his stats in limited minutes. The Wildcat faithful better be praying that he doesn’t change his mind and go to Florida, the the Gators will continue to be the SEC champions and National Champions.

Gillespie will have everything moving in the right direction. Perry Stevenson would swat this Draymond guy any day of the week. I hear alot of Yankee buffalo lingo, come on down to KY with all that shit. Ballard High School would run Michigan during a bad season. I don’t ever want to hear some character talking about the basketball mecca like there is a better talent pool.

Green is a good player. Kentucky really wanted Bud Mackey but Mackey had verbally committed to Indiana University.
Even though I live in Texas - I know Indiana is perhaps the classiest program in college basketball. They dont spend near what other schools do. They care about graduation and they have never been on probation. Add to that 5 national championships and the last team to go undefeated and they are the cream of the crop.
