Comings and goings

by webmaster

The speculation is starting to fire up about who is going and who is staying. Last week, Adam Williams’ father said that he and Adam needed to discuss Adam’s future with Tubby.

The Rondo-to-the-NBA talk is ongoing. If I were him I’d be outta here. No way he should pass up the guaranteed money of a first round draft pick.

Today in the HL there was a story about whether Rekalin Sims would be transferring. He has been having discussions with his former JuCo coach regarding his future role at UK or otherwise. The JuCo coach said he has been contacted by other schools concerning Rekalin’s availability.

On the radio today I though I heard something about former cat Ravi Moss playing football. No way you say, I must have misunderstood. Sure enough I found this story on LEX18 about it. Rich Brooks says that he thinks that Ravi has enough athletic ability to play wide receiver for the football cats. Let’s see how this plays out. It would be fun to watch.

You have to be kidding about Rondo. He wont go first round. I want him to go not because he should take the money and run, but because he’s undisiplined and lazy. He had great speed and quickness and good defensive skills; i said good not great. He wont become a decent shooter because he wont put in the time and Tubby wont make him become one. which is the real reason i would love to see tubby go. He doesnt recruit shooters (which he desperatley needs) he recruits based on defensive skills and so called athleticism. You can run and work out shooters and make them suberb atheletes and defense is far easier to teach then shooting skills ( see Rick Pitino, Coach K, Billy Donovan) Take the job at Charlotte Tubby Please and Rondo don’t spend that money to quick. By the way my step father is an NBA Scout and development administrator with a certain Midwest team. We know of which we speak. Rondo goes; IF he goes, in the middle of the 2 round and will not be on a pro oster by mid season next year.

Rondo doesn’t need to be a great shooter, he WAS alot like Wayne Turner, but don’t get me wrong he had alot of work to do to be as good as Wayne. What happened to the freshman Rondo? He had his moments this year but the bad out weighed the good!

Fire tubby and Show Billy D the money. Where would UK be tonight if we hired him instead of the Bug Eyed bastardddddd tubby smith? Donavan had his jacket off and was coaching at the tipoff. when was the last time tubby coached during a game and broke a sweat?

    Geramie,

Haven’t you ever heard of the Sophomore Slump? The term has beome a cliche, because it’s true! Highly touted players come in and have a good freshman season. Then everyone expects them to carry the team the next year even though the still need some seasoning. Rondo will come around next year!

Sophomore slump or not, Rondo looked almost lazy in the games he didn’t perform! He had the look of someone who didn’t care and that isn’t exceptable. It showed when Tubby decided to start players who played hard in practice, where was Rondo?
