Have you noticed a pattern lately?
- Start slow and fall behind by 12-16 points.
- I declare the game over and mumble something about “I can’t believe this is happening again.”
- UK then starts playing catch-up until halftime so that they are only down by two to four points.
- They open the second half with a little better defense but still no offense.
- Fall down by 12-16 points once again.
- I declare the game over and threaten to change the channel.
- UK starts the comeback.
- Randolph/Ramel/Joe hit some shots and bring it back to four to six points.
- Right on schedule when UK starts closing the gap, the other team catches fire.
- Kentucky’s defense turns it up a notch just enough to make you feel like there’s a chance to pull out the W.
- Jodie/Ramel/Joe start turning over the ball.
Tubby actually looks like he’s done. He really doesn’t look like he was into this game. Maybe John Clay or someone who was actually at the game could have a little more insight into this point. That’s just the way it felt watching it on tv.

Here we are again, ALABAMA. Tubby, please, If u do care about this program, go back to Georgia. The Atlanta Hawks need U. U can keep up the same ol’ backward as ball that they are used to there. And heres a good idea, to MORRIS with u. You are a good coach, just not a great coach. UK BASKETBALL demands greatness, you sir do not!

well folks i think if we lose tuesday night at home that tubby is definately done. because the way that i see it, we have no chance of beating vandy on the road. two more losses in a row makes it a 5 game losing streak. if we do not fire a coach who loses five straight then i will no longer be a uk fan.

No offense to anyone but I truely believe Uk wont get rid of Tubby until Tubby decides he is ready to leave. Just think about the stink that would be caused if they fired the only african-american coach to ever coach at Uk. I guarentee there would be a lawsuit filed saying UK was predjudce for dismissing Tubby because he is african-american. I personably believe there should have been a change after last year myself. I would fire anyone that lost 3 straight games and not only lost the games but hardly ever come ready to play no matter if they are playing a number 1 team or if they are playing High Point college bottom line is Uk is no where near the team that they have been in the past and the downhill nose dive has happened since Tubby has taken over. And by the way UK needs to sell tickets to younger,wilder UK fans and bring some excitment to the games instead of having the OLD people sitting there with there finger in their ass. Come on we are UK lets rock this roof off this building!!!

This is nothing new. Tubby’s teams haven’t came prepared to play since the first day he took over. Why do you think the 98 team was the Comeback Cats. Because we were always getting drilled in the first half. Tubby has had talent, fan support, the whole nine yards, he’s lousy, just like Saul was a lousy point guard. He’s ruined our tradition in nine years. If anyone of us were getting paid as much as he is and doing as poorly we’d get fired in a week. I just covered the Vandy/Florida game and it made me sick to my stomach as I realized how far our team has fallen compared with teams on the rise like Vandy and the new king of the SEC, Florida. HOW LONG IS IT TILL FOOTBALL SEASON?

it is apoximately 190 days until football season.
cant come soon enough.
and I’m dreading March. Something about me will still pull for the Cats, but there is also something about me that knows they will get me behind them and then crush my dreams with either a 2 point loss to a horrible team or a 30 points loss to a decent team.

The, oh god, we can’t fire an african-american excuse is a bunch of crap..Kentucky is the first elite program to hire a black head-coach. He made perfect sense for the job when he was hired, but he has not stepped and become nor is he capable of being a top coach. When you don’t deliver, you’re outta here..and don’t tell me about his elite 8’s and SEC titles. A caveman could get UK to that level..(sorry, Geico dudes)
